Cancellation Policy

All cancellation deadlines on RacketSync are measured against the court start time, in UK local time, using a single threshold: T-24 hours. Cancel at or before that line for a full refund; after it, the booking is non-refundable — with two narrow exceptions for matchmaker joiners: a 2-hour post-payment grace and self-serve seat resale.

24 hours before start

Every refund decision uses the same line: exactly 24 hours before the booking's start time. We refer to this as T-24h. Cancel at or before T-24h and you get a full refund. Cancel after, and the slot is non-refundable.

Example: a 19:00 court on Saturday → the deadline is 19:00 on Friday.

All thresholds are measured against the booking's start time, in UK local time. The cancel-booking edge function and the cancel_matchmaking_booking SQL function both use the same T-24h constant.
